General Informations - The Fluere The Fluere race are of the same genetic stock as the Founders who split from them millions of years ago. Where the Founders stagnated in their evolution the Fluere did not and managed to evolve and achieve omnipotence on par with the Q. Like the Founders they hold all other species in contempt but this causes no problems as they reside in a different continuum and so do not come into contact with the other species of our reality. The Fluere power is derived from their Racial Mind, similar to the Founders Great Link but far more advanced and not requiring physical contact. Only one Fluere has ever left the Racial Mind that being is now known as Odos. He was stripped of his powers to become just a shapeshifter and outcast by his race 20,000 years ago for radical thinking. His crime, he believed that all sentient races were equal.Physical Attributes: The Fluere are perfect mimics they can become a perfect undetectable copy of anything and maintain that shape indefinately. The main difference between their shape shifting and that of the Founders, is the ability to control part of their body mass at a distance. If you cut off the finger of a Founder pretending to be human, that finger once seperated from the main body would revert to it's natural fluid form. The Fluere on the other hand could make the seperated piece continue to mimic a finger.
