Ensign Jack Wander - Engineer

Jack was born on Earth’s Moon in 2353. His father was a correspondent for GNN and his mother was CSO for the Starfleet outpost. As a child, Jonas and his family would vacation to Earth to visit his grandparents and other relatives.

While his mother tried to get him interested in science at an early age, she only half succeed. Instead of being content to make things in his lab, he mixed a potent form of combustible fuel. After equipping a nozzle to his land rover, Jack lit the mixture and was taken on the ride of his life, until he crashed the rover into a large outcropping of rocks. While Jack was unhurt the rover was demolished. After a long walk home and being grounded for a month, he decided that science really wasn’t for him.

With a little encouragement from his uncle, Jonas enrolled in Starfleet academy through their engineering program. He worked hard and received good grades and maintained a standing in the top third percentile of the class.

After graduation, he was assigned to the USS Renaissance.

Personality/General Attitude/Quirks: Rarely shows outward signs of stress and is always trying to be in a good mood. Hates silence and will at least hum while he works.

Special Skills/Hobbies: Prefers rock climbing and deep sea diving but is usually up for anything. Enjoys a good drink and good company on his down time and is never one to turn away from a party.
