Ensign Uliani Theska - Counselor Personality: Friendly and talkative, Uliani enjoys a good joke and friendly banter.History: Although she was less serious about fulfilling her duty to the state Uliani eventually enrolled at the military academy at the age of 16. Her early childhood was spent mainly in the company of her families housekeeper while her parents continued their careers. When she was 15 years old her father brought home a Bajoran servant who had the name Draxa Rul. Intriguing to Uliani tried her best to get to know the child and after a while a shaky but steady friendship developed. During the time Draxa was often beaten by Uliani’s mother over the slightest incident but mostly because Draxa was Bajoran. On those days Uliani would wait until the residents of the household slept before she went to tend Draxa’s wounds and if possible give her some extra food. In 2363 Uliani’s father took Draxa on a military tour with him it was during this time Draxa was apparently killed in an escape attempt. Uliani was in her second year at the academy and spent several weeks in silent mourning for her Bajoran friend. 2365 Uliani graduated from the military academy and received the rank of Gil, it was at that graduation she met and fell in love with Rujar Delor . It appeared that Delor felt the same way and although her father was pleased with the match Uliani’s mother was not as Delor was a lower ranking officer than Uliani, to Uliani’s mother that made the match unsuitable. In 2366 Delor vanished without a trace until has body was found in a small town 20 miles away. He had been tortured to death.. During her grief Uliani throw herself in to her career. From 2366-2373 Uliani’s career had little to note as most of her duties were routine. However, in the height of the Dominion war Uliani sadly watched as her people became puppets for their Dominion masters. This didn’t however, stop Uliani doing her duty and by the end of the war she had been decorated twice for valour and pure courage. 2375 saw the end of the war for Uliani and her people. Uliani returned home only to learn of her fathers death and the assumed death of her mother. Family Mother: Lenora Theska , Lenora was a member of the Obsidian Order, a cruel woman who delighted in the torture of prisoners in particular female prisoners who had been raped by the guards at her work compound. Father: Gul Kaler Theska, A quiet man who had a somewhat undistinguished career in the 3rd order. Theska loved to read and spend time with his daughter even so he spent more time protecting Uliani from her mother than he did spending time with both women. A compassionate man in 2363 he freed the families Bajoran servant on the grounds that Uliani’s mother had threatened to beat her on the grounds of something being broken. Theska suspected that the plan Lenora had was to take Draxa Rul to Obsidian Order facilities and slowly torture her to death. Theska also suspected Lenora of Rujar Delor’s murder.
