Lieutenant Julia Jones - Security Officer Julia was born into a powerful family on Earth. Her childhood was the classic “spoilt brat” scenario. This formed her character from an early age to be self-centred in the extreme. Her fortunes took a turn for the worse when it was discovered that both her father and mother were involved in smuggling, which as was discovered, was the source of their wealth.With the removal of all the wealth and power Julia found she could no longer act the spoilt brat and get away with it. The first and only time she spent a night in a cell made her career choice for her. The only real option she could think of was to join Starfleet and try to ensnare and marry an admiral. The thought of actually working to progress herself was an alien thought that never occurred to her at that time. Joining Starfleet she remained an ensign, never even meeting an admiral. Whilst serving aboard the Renaissance, her character slowly changed and matured. She could still be self-centred, but now not at the expense of others. This change and her obvious talent for both combat and seduction made her an ideal candidate to captain Odos when planning the theft of the Renaissance with his renegades. Julia jumped at the chance to go along and her rank was increased to that of lieutenant along with a change of department from medical to security. |
