Marine Private Xavier J.F Black

Born outside of wedlock Xavier was a bit of a scandal in the small country town of his birth. His parents did marry shortly after Xavier’s 10th birthday after his father returned on leave when the Uss Yamauchi came back home to earth after it’s encounter with the Borg. On his 11th birthday Xavier was sent to a boarding school in Great Britton which he attended until he was 16, after that he was excepted on a course to train as a counsellor he left this training a year later and was excepted into the Marine corps. Black was shifted from unit to unit in his early career, his previous CO’s felt that although he did his job well he was not ambitious enough. This is something Black hopes to prove wrong by getting his first promotion under Scarlet’s command.

Personality: Brooding and sometimes mistaken for contemptuous Xavier Is difficult to like however, once he is known well enough he can be kind and caring and has a fantastic sense of humour.

General Attitude: Hard working to the degree of being a little obsessive he gets the job done no matter what.

Quirks: Prefers to use the first name of "Toby" instead of his real name, he is also inclined to sneer

Previous Starfleet Record:
Started off in Counselling much as he was expected to by his parents but after a while he decided that he did not wish to follow in his father’s wake he wanted a name in his own right and dropped out of the Counselling training soon after he had studied the Religious beliefs of may cultures he signed up for the Marines and was posted to Captain Scarlet’s detachment.

Recent postings: Breen- rescue mission Cardassia IV- undercover work amongst the Dominion Cardassia- Captured and imprisoned until the end of the Dominion war. Uss Renaissance- current post.

Extended Family/Relatives:
Edna Quinn, although the pair are in no way related they are closer than brother and sister. Xavier was affected badly by Quinn’s death in 2388.
Blacks mother is Rowena Black and she is a civilian police officer. His Father is still on the USS Yamauchi serving as chief counsellor His Brother is serving on the USS Goliath as first officer.
